John Peacock
General Manager
John Peacock, is Director of Association Forum and General Manager of NFP Analysts, has wide experience at a senior level in a variety of not-for-profit entities. Prior to the establishment of NFP Analysts Pty Ltd, John Peacock was:
- Executive Director, Australian Plaintiff Lawyers Association
- Executive Officer, Australian Institute of Credit Union Management
- Professional Development Manager, Institute of Chartered Accountants
John has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of NSW and is a Fellow of the Australian Society of Association Executives. Assisting John's excellent knowledge of not-for-profit management matters is his voluntary time as National Director on the Boards of:
- Australian Institute of Training & Development (AITD)
- Australian Society of Association Executives (AuSAE)
John has extensive experience and knowledge of the Not-for-Profit Sector, including:
- Developing organisation's vision, mission and goals, then translating these objectives into achievable action plans
- Linking organisational objectives to budgetary constraints
- Assessing the performance of organisations compared to its peers
- Advising organisations on the advantages and disadvantages of single entity structures compared with federations
- Increasing profitability through review of products, services and pricing
- Examining operations and suggesting increased efficiencies
- Mentoring key elected representatives and staff members to attaining set objectives

Kathy Nguyen
Manager
Kathy started at Associations Forum in early 2004 having left a career in professional services at Ernst & Young. She holds a degree in Law and Business from the University of Technology Sydney. In late 2005 Kathy moved to London where she worked for the Trade Association Forum, a not-for-profit body encouraging the development and sharing of best practice among UK trade associations and promoting the role of effective trade associations to government, industry and the wider public. She returned a year later to rejoin Associations Forum where she now manages the small team.

Veronica Pham
Assistant Manager
Veronica Pham started at Associations Forum in 2005 where she was responsible for membership development and assisting in the delivery of all member services. She was promoted to Assistant Manager in 2007 and now oversees all of the events. Veronica holds a Bachelor of Management in Tourism from the University of Technology Sydney.

Alex Petersen
Member Services Officer
Alex started at Associations Forum in early 2007 after previously working in market research. She holds a double degree in Business Administration and Arts (Psychology). Alex primarily looks after the Member Meetings and special interest groups (SIGS). She is also the editor of Associations Forum News and co-ordinates our benchmarking projects.

Abraham Chua
Member Services Officer
Abraham started at Associations Forum in June, 2009 as a Member Services Officer. He is responsible for membership development and the organisation of training events (seminars and conferences). Abraham holds a Bachelor of Commerce - Marketing degree from Macquarie University.
